Appointed to the town board in 2017 and later elected twice as a councilor and twice as Supervisor, Susan LaFex has lived in the Town of Geddes since 1984. With her husband, Thomas, they raised three daughters in the community and now have 10 grandchildren, four of whom live in the town. Retired from the Westhill School District as a teacher and school counselor after a 34-year career, Susan has also been an instructor and student teaching supervisor for LeMoyne College. Committed to public service, Susan’s focus is on creating a safe, supportive, inclusive and vibrant community through honest and responsible leadership.

Marcia Ferguson has been a Geddes resident for most of her life. She graduated from West Genesee High School, and SUNY Oswego. She taught Earth Science at Westhill High School for 38 years. Marcia is married and has 2 adult sons. She enjoys golf, and is a member of the Syracuse Polish Home, and the Solvay Geddes Youth Center Auxiliary. She enjoys meeting her constituents and dealing with their concerns.

Jonathan Lorber is a newly elected Town Councilor. He is a lifelong resident of the Town of Geddes and a committee member for the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. He has worked in various building trades and is a certified building safety inspector. He has served on the Solvay ZBA/Planning Board since 2018. He lives in the Village of Solvay with his wife, Kara.

Chris Maroney, has been a resident of Lakeland for over 25 years. Chris and his wife Tina Maestri, have raised their daughters here who attend the Solvay Schools. He is a successful business owner, he serves on the Comprehensive Plan Committee, and brings a strong background of management experience. In his time as councilor, Chris served as both the Public Safety Committee Chairman and Parks & Recreation Committee Chairman. Chris is a strong proponent of bringing Westvale, Solvay, and Geddes together as one cohesive community!

Alanna, and her husband Brian have lived in Westvale for 25 years. They raised their 3 children in Westvale, all of whom attended Westhill School District.
Alanna is a graduate of Syracuse University, and is looking forward to utilizing her strong advocacy skills to best serve her community. Alanna is employed with Prime Care Coordination as a Care Manager Supervisor, serving people with Developmental Disabilities.

Mark is a lifetime resident of Onondaga County and has lived with his wife, Catherine, in the Town of Geddes for over 25 Years. He is a graduate of Bishop Ludden High School, LeMoyne College, and the Syracuse University, College of Law.
Mark was a foundry worker for eight years at Crouse Hinds and was twice elected to the Executive Board of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local #2084. He went on to practice law in the Onondaga County Family Court, New York State Supreme, and Appellate Courts. Mark is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Onondaga County Bar Association and Chairman of the Onondaga County and Town of Geddes Democratic Committees. He is currently a member of the Solvay Tigers Athletic Club. Mark looks forward to assisting all residents build a stronger sense of community within the Town of Geddes.

Tracy and her husband Nathaniel have lived in Westvale for 23 years. They raised their 2 children in Westvale, both of whom attended Westhill School District.
Tracy graduated from West Genessee High School, SUNY Brockport (BS) and Arizona State University (MSW). Tracy is a social worker by profession and now educating future social workers at the Syracuse University School of Social Work. Tracy is committed to service and leading with compassion and building on strengths.
